MARYLAND!!!!

At this moment I'm super excited to head off to Maryland in two weeks. I think part of the reason I am so excited is because All Time Low lives in Maryland. Steffi asked me this week what I would do if I actually met Jack. I really have no idea what I would but I am sure I would be freaking out on the inside. Whether I would show that freaking out on the outside is something I'm not sure what would happen. I can tell you that I am bringing a Sharpie everywhere I go just in-case I do by chance see him. I just can't believe that in two weeks will be our first break. Sometimes it doesn't feel like I've been here that long. Wish me luck and pray for me for when I go to MARYLAND!!!

Random thoughts on college

So I'm pretty pumped up about next weekend. The weekend of the twenty-fourth. First off Sargent Avenue is having a free concert. emmy and I might go. Then Aqunias has our homecoming. It's strange having homecoming in September instead of February. Anyways, Mustard Plug is playing here; so that should be pretty awsome. I looked them up and found they are on Hopeless Records also. I havn't heard any bad artist from Hopeless so I'm looking forward to a really good show. I did search them on youtube.com and they seemed like they were pretty good. Then the weekend after that Emmy and I want to go and see Hot Chelle Rae. I'm almost positive that we'll be able to go to that one. Oh and on the 28th campus is having our own version of the Cash Cab. It's campus wide ride golf carts around day. Which will be nicer than having to walk everywhere. And how can I forget to talk about the soccer games and lacross games coming up. I have found a new love for soccer since coming to college. And if you haven't watched the video about soccer you need to go and watch it NOW!!!! Search for Soccer-America's path to socialism and watch the Billy Bob Neck one. You will be laughing when you finish the video. Well that's all I have for now.

Ah, Music. A magic beyond all we do here.

Updates

I'm so sorry that I never update this but college has so much stuff going on. Such as right now there is a soccer game that I can't go to because I have class in 13 minutes. Gotta love Arabic. Seriously I would tell everyone to take Arabic. Not much else is going on right now. Emily and I might go and see Sargent Avenue on the 26 so that should be fun. I have to say it's so nice being able to do so many things and having them be so close. Prime example was this last Labor Day weekend. I went down to St. Joe and managed to go to a dirt track and watch some racing. It made me want to go back to a NASCAR race :). I also watched fireworks, but I have quite a sore neck now. Why? Because the fireworks were directly above us so I had to watch directly above me for 20 minutes. It was so worth it. Well that's all for now because I have to get ready for Arabic.

College

This last week has been so amazing. I have never met so many really cool people in so short of a time span. In my orientation group all of us get along so well; it's like I've known them for way longer than I actually have. Today I met up with them and we went wandering on campus to get the feel of the whole campus outside of our dorm rooms. I have now found all the planets and Pluto plus I found the haunted window on campus. It is super creepy looking and I freaked out a little bit but so did Erica so I don't feel to bad. Classes start tomorrow and I'm super excited but most of my friends are health and education majors so I won't see them in most of my classes, well except for fencing. The fact I have a friend in fencing also makes me more excited. This is the perfect campus for sure...well at least for me :)

There was no point in worrying yet...what would come, would come.

Changes

I've been doing so much and forgeting that I have this lovely blog to share all my stories on. Currently I am in Stevensville near Benton Harbor on the lovely beach front. Okay not really beach front but close enough. I can't believe that it's almost time to leave for college. It's crazy thinking I'm not going to have my girls next to me walking to my fencing class. Well, at least I have most of my shopping done :)!!! Collge shopping is slightly different that just school shopping for example when regular school shopping I only focus on maybe some nootbook but college shopping I have to worry about buying microwavable dishware. It's amazing how things change.

An Earthquake in...Michigan

Since I've last posted many things have happened. First off I got my classes for next year: Regional Geography, Arabic, Spanish, Phycology, and fencing. I will be able to fight in three different languages. How awsome is that!!! On Monday I went to Michigan Adventures with Brogan. It was the last adventure for the two of us and it really was an adventure. The GPS took us the back way. We went through towns we didn't know existed. The last part of my crazy last couple of days was yesterday. I was over at the Miller household to dye my hair. But before we got to my hair Britany and I experienced and earthquake...here in Michigan. We did eventually dye my hair. The point was to get rid of the blonde and the blonde jokes that go with it. The color is not what we expected. I still have blonde hair with a red tint. It's safe to say that our plan failed but hey it was an adventure :)

Just another day

I had known my laptop had the ability to create videos with the camara on top but I had not gotten the chance to use it until today. Haley and I created our own crazy video and I tried to attempt a fake punch; the ones where you pretend to punch then clap your hands to make the noise. Well that failed when I had poor aim and actually punched Haley. It ended up being a pretty funny video. I also found out my work times. I am happy that I can work with Tamara all summer. That's all for now :)

Differences of habit and language are nothing at all if our aims are identical and our hearts are open.
